Why would I Donate?

Symphony of Noise has always wanted to allow anyone and everyone free access to all art put forward by them.  Whether that be Audio art in the form of Music or sounds used for  various albums by various artists, sound for use in movies or video games it should all be free to hear by anyone who would want to hear it.  Whether the art is full form novel form or a four line bit of a poem.  It has always been the goal to put out the best that can be done by anyone associated with Symphony of Noise, for anyone who wants to see, hear or feel.

 

What do I get for donating?

You can have your name added to the donator list.   You will also receive some free Symphony of Noise swag, ranging from stickers to printouts of various things to free CD test runs that I am slowly accumulating in mass.   Plus you can have the satisfaction of knowing you helped give back, assuming you have enjoyed what we offer for free as often as possible.

Why ask for donations?

I have never liked the idea that you have to buy every last thing you hear.  To me, Music has always been free.  I grew up listening to the radio, going to concerts in parks and so on.  Music was all around me and I felt like the musicians always loved doing it as much as the people loved listening to it. Especially when we went to see bands play live at a couple local parks.  Jazz, blues, different types of folk music and rock.  Sometimes they would have a place where you could go donate money.  But never did they make people pay, or give the feeling that you had to donate.

That's where this page comes in.  Where I have sold audio before and sold various items, now I am making a place to donate money.  We have various albums available for download on the discography page, which from the point they were recently posted onward, will always be available.  You may also download whole albums at a time in .rar format on the downloads page.   Again, free. My number one goal is entertainment.  Not profit.  The downfall of this is most times, every last dime comes out of my own pocket.  Which DOES directly translate into much less time to create music as I am doing overtime at work for extra cash.
