Believe it or not, that's a question I've always wanted to answer. Iran is a place that is known for it's history, it's beauty and it's legacy that has lasted for years, but since the Revolution and the over-taking of the Moolahs and the roots of Islam being a part of our roots of law, as I had said in a topic over here, it has become unbelievable. As a kid, of whom I still am, I wasn't fully aware of what was going on, the amount of loneliness and confinement in this country; I just wanted to play with my toys and be happy, but as I grew up and started to have the need for companionship, I realized. Greed and entitlement has taken over this country like it never has before. Especially since "our great and couragous" president has had the nerve to say meaningless, useless facts that are in no way true and only show the simple-mindedness of him and exposes our country in a way that it hasn't since the start of the Revolution.

The confinment I'm talking about is the fact that people have become scum. Cowards. Heh, Pigs so to say. They are afraid to give out their thoughts or to revolt against the prejiduce that has become the Iranian goverment. Some have decided to blend in with the surroundings, follow them, their organized-religion and their thoughts beyond belief. Some to escape this have covered theirselves with so many lies that they have become slaves of their own reflections and to escape this further more, they have become addicted to not only their selffishness but drugs, not to enhance their mind but to escape from it and the pain. And people like me, have become rebels with no cause, trying to find a cause to revolt against this, but being young, and naive and surrounded by millions of pigs from which I have turned into one aswell can't escape from.

It's become a wall. That has divided us from the world. From reality, or the perception we all want to get through. We have built that wall ourselves, to escape, and many of us are just looking for an escape so we wouldn't get hurt from it. I'm leaving for Switzerland to a boarding school for my education next year, yet it's sad to know that another country filled with hypocrisy, greed, entitlement and prejiduce have taken their aim at our country. No offense if you're behind them, but the USA has been a void superpower for over years now. A superpower that has taken over their own world and have lied to their people just like Iran has lied to theirs. It's natural in goverments, but I really can't say much about America either. The amount of blood that is on their hands is unmatchable to any other country I can think of... And they want to have even more filth on their hands with Iran.

When you look at this place, or any other city in Iran from the outside, you're most likely to see hospital people, beautiful views... Sometimes polution like in Tehran and many other positive and negative views. I'm 16 years old, and I'm saying this. Because I'm sick of this. I'm sick of being alone in a country... A home-land that the people who pass you by are scared to look at you and when they do, like all other humans use you to get to their own goals and climb their own ladder. People who wouldn't piss on you if they were on fire!... Something I think I can call... Survivalism. Hehehe.

The Year Zero concept has been personal to me because of that. Many may think Year Zero represents the USA in a few years, but it's not that, it represents Iran and all the other countries living in hidden poverty. I listen to the leaked songs so far and tell myself, "Wow. I can resemble to this, just like I have to other Nine Inch Nails songs, but this one is something I can resemble for not only myself but the majority."

And that's why I'm interested to see the other parts of Year Zero. Not only the rest of the tracks and the whole album through together but the second part aswell.

I was in London and Switzerland last week, and I used to put on Year Zero on my iPod and I really couldn't feel resemblence, in the people, in the country, in the whole outlook. It wasn't what I resembled to in their. It didn't feel the same as it did over here, because over here it is Year Zero.

And I find it genius with the Year Zero game Reznor is playing with us. I remember reading "Post Iran... Former-Iran" in one of the sites he has given and also, "My dad was an usher at the show, while I was throwing daisy cutters in Tehran... Payback motherfuckers!" No offense, but I think that is exactly what most American people look at Iran with. A terrorist country. Funny enough, we've never been terrorist. We're not Arabs, we're Iranians... Persians... That have sadly become Arabs not only by our forced religion but our goverment trying to become Arabs with what they are doing.

Sorry to take your time, man.

Regards
Morad
