Ground Zero - by Erik Smith

on the other side
there's been one casualty
the battle ever so fierce
crashing through my hollowed mind

my leash i'm gripping harder
as the body lashes out
controlled by my ebony heart
i try not to lose full control
unnaturally desiring to kill everyone
i mentally glue myself to the distance

ever widening frailty
crackling into a rythmic decay
masterbating and procrastinating
everything within is now fucked away

minefields planted long ago
masked as endless safe escapeways
running through in a burning panic
forgetting my toys of peril
as my escape from self destruction
blows me into a dead pile of hate
my memories of morals disappear
and my good natures desintegrate
